Interview:

Before explaining the spiritual significance of music, my own interpretation towards the meaning of “spirituality” is best explained to serve as a key to a map which grounds some grasp of my direction. As a synopsis, spirituality is that which animates all five points of a personal existence. One of the five points being that which can relate to anything outside one’s own existence. Often confused with the ego, spirituality is beyond the remedial; a personal and individual codex which at best, may attempt to process that which is beyond science, physical senses, and understanding. Without delving into a history lesson of how music has played its role in mental, physical, and “spiritual” catharsis, I would like to point out factors that have been tried and true yet steadily diminishing in the so-called “evolution” within society and humanity. In primitive and infantile forms, music has proven to be a cure towards the natural instincts of fear, and a threshold of empowerment within animals and humans. Onwards to my own personal perspective on the spiritual significance of music. I gather that which is of primordial essence, and that which struggles beyond the primitive mind of sounds causing emotions. In many degrees there is fluctuation as to how this can be scientifically explained. Research has proven various phenomena which can occur according to various sound-wave frequencies. This is precisely where the occult significance behind music comes into play, and exactly where it has continued to be a path towards learning. It would be the day where I think I understand music to its full extent while alive; that is the day I deserve to wither away presumptuous as opposed to embracing death.
