Interview:

Music is one of the few things that we can participate in and create that is pre-existent. In other words, the concept and performance of music existed before time and co-exists outside of our dimension. Music’s creation was for one purpose and one purpose only: to worship and bring glory to God. Because of its original purpose, the power that is contained in music supersedes or is greater than our reality. You see that in the Bible, through music, armies were defeated, walls were torn down, and the sick were made well. The reality of power and strength were undone by the partnering of God and music.

Music is also one of the few things that we can participate in along with the angelic or other Heavenly beings. The angels will sing to the Lord, and we can sing to the Lord. When we rejoice together, we are partnering with Heaven. Music transcends the boundaries of culture and language. It can heavily influence thought and emotion. Music is one of the most powerful forces in our universe, so we as Christians must use it to its fullest potential, to bring glory and honor to God.
