I believe the spiritual significance of music is emotional strength. Just listening to a song can help people cope with their feelings. Depending on the emotion that the person is feeling, music can bring that feeling to the table. For instance, say someone just lost a loved one and they are driving somewhere in their car. Most likely they are thinking about that loved one. Then at that very moment it’s as if the perfect song comes on to help that person deal with what they are experiencing at that time. Next thing you know, that person is coming to closure and acceptance because a certain song helped bring them to acceptance at the moment they needed it. I don’t believe that it is mere coincidence but the hand of God bringing comfort to a broken spirit. That is my belief on the spiritual significance in music.
