Music is the voice of God. It is a human means of connecting with the divine. When a song is sung, the soul is opened. Music can be a prayer without words, an overflowing of the heart. It can also be a transmitter of divine Love directly from God to the human soul. Music is a mystery. It works as Spirit works, being both ephemeral and eternal in nature. The sound dies away when the song ends, but the effect upon the heart can remain forever. Music has the power to change one’s world, opening our eyes to the light of beauty and truth that surrounds us. It is universal, understood and used by people of all times and all places since the creation of the human soul. It is no wonder that God would use music to transmit divine Love throughout creation. Music is foundational to all existence.
