Interview:

God gave some of us musical abilities and shaped our lives to give us opportunities to develop those musical abilities. Those of us who were born to be musicians should use the time and resources we have been given in this life to sing songs to the Lord. The songs we write and perform should be used to spread His Word, give thanks to God, and proclaim His glory.

Ephesians 5:19
19 Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord.

Colossians 3:16
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.

Judges 5:3
3 Hear this, you kings! Listen, you rulers! I will sing to the Lord, I will sing; I will make music to the Lord, the God of Israel.

Psalms 108:1-3
1 My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing and make music with all my soul.
2 Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.
3 I will praise you, O Lord, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples.

Psalm 150:3-5
3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre,
