Interview:

Music is truly a gift from God and, acknowledging as such, the importance music plays spiritually is very profound. Music has the power to heal, change lives, and move mountains. It also has the power to hurt, destroy, and mislead. There are very few art forms, or creative avenues that can play so important a role in not only our daily lives, but in our conscious, and subconscious health. Music goes to the core and depths of the soul.

Spirituality by definition is “gaining insight, knowledge, and understanding about life”. Music has the ability to fall into the very definition of spirituality, and therefore very often goes hand in hand. As a Christian Music artist the spirituality I align myself with is from Jesus Christ. I’m realizing more each day what my role and my intent of my music needs to be from that perspective. My conscious, and humble goal is always to follow where God leads in my music, so as to creatively allow Him to shine through. It is of utmost importance from where I stand to allow the gift of music to line up with the will of God. I believe we are held responsible for how we share our gifts with others. I tend to believe that if I have the ability to touch someone’s life through music, it might as well be done to help promote their health, well-being, and overall spiritual growth.
