Interview:
I love doing design, photography, and shows. Nothing can stop me doing it. Deep down it’s something that climbs inside you that you can’t take out. The whole thing is great and the production and you get to know new people. Everyone is doing it for love and volunteering away, because we share the same passion, share the same energy. Just wanna get out to the stage. We were born to be on a stage. I just wanna connect with people out there that I don’t know and hope they enjoy my music, hope they enjoy my performance, hope they love the night, bring a little smile on their face and forget about things they’ve been worrying about or is stressful and just relax kind of thing, and people love it.
As a photographer and a graphic artist, I worked and performed for a Charity Fashion Show fundraiser for the Child Cancer Foundation. I was starting out by just doing the photography throughout the whole campaign, essentially raising awareness. Basically the whole network that know what we are doing and getting the exposure and I eventually became more involved because I’m a creative person, a graphic artist and designer. I put together a better branding using my skills and talent as a volunteer and just hope that will communicate with the audience better.
I’m naturally a very positive person, and when you see my work, it’s always quite positive. When people engage with my photography or my work, they will have an expression of wow, or, I love it! I think the whole production is very positive, and everyone is doing it for love. After thirty years of accumulating experiences, stories, moments, and knowledge, I feel I’ve grown as a much better person. That’s the thing I learnt, forgiveness. Love and forgiveness.
That’s another story of a person, his name is Peter Taylor, he recently died, and he actually inspired me a lot. I learnt so much from this man. I learnt so much from his values, he’s always loving, always forgiving people, and that’s the way that I pick up a lot of things that I shouldn’t be a judgemental person. That’s not me anyway. That’s when it comes to the model agency now is that of course you still have to categorise all different kind of talents in different categories, but it’s not based on something that, oh, I judge you. I feel that’s my quality and my values. There’s always hope somewhere. There’ll be a lighthouse just shining somewhere. You have to find it.
