Interview:

Music has a great significance because among all the beautiful things God has created; music is also part of His magnificent creation. No wonder music has also been used by the Enemy for many evil things. From my perspective, music is a very powerful way to bring out what is inside of me; worship, love, hate, and anger. Worshipping God with music is a way to get rid of depression, sadness, and everything that keeps us feeling bad, no matter how awful things may seem in life. God loves to hear His children worshipping Him, and singing glory to His name. That is a good reason why God has given us music; to “spice up” our worship. The deeper I go in Christian music and worship, the more resistance I have been facing; from the inside and outside of me. The Devil hates what I have been doing in band and in church. That is why he tries to smother it all by using the weakness of my flesh and unbelief. But luckily I am with the Redeemer Jesus Christ, who has already dealt with the Devil. Sometimes I have to force myself to worship God with music. For example, I sometimes feel very bad inside just before worshipping God. However, He makes me feel happy again when I am singing praises and giving all the glory to Him! No wonder music has a great spiritual significance, especially music that has something to do with God.
