Interview:

To the Oracle, the root of all true musical invention is a product of channeling the divine. Whether it be primitive chants of ancient worship, the music of singing birds, the thundering notes of a full orchestra, or the dark atmospheres of a synthesizer: all music that conjures, or summons some drastic change of mood can inevitably be linked to ones soul: sort of spiritual alchemy. Of course there are basic psychological human reactions to any music, such as the will to dance, or a chill down one’s spine, but in immortal art, there is much more. In true art, any song, painting, sculpture, or picture that expresses the human condition, taps into the very essence of being, where flesh and bone are stripped away, and only ones’ soul is left naked, and shivering before the oncoming waves of spiritual sound. It is in that void that we are changed. A piece of music can change you for a day, but a piece of divine art can change you for eternity. Every day we are surrounded by “music”.

Whether it is in shopping malls, dentist offices, grocery stores, or homes. But true music, sounds which shape the spirit, is hard to come by. It is a shame only a minute percentage of the modern world will ever appreciate the music that has the power to change the soul. The art of Burzum, Dead Can Dance, Emperor and Beethoven will soon be forgotten, and replaced with soulless, disjointed, and egotistical entertainment we can see rising today. When that happens, a great spiritual sickness will follow.

A piece of music can change you for a day, but a piece of divine art can change you for eternity.”
