Music is a universal language that everyone can understand and use in different ways. Music can be your best friend or your worst enemy. On a comfort level, a sad song can make depression easier to deal with. Music can be the perfect medicine to mend a broken heart, or give you the strength to keep up the good fight. It can trigger memories from your past, and help to relive the good times, and bring a smile to your face when hearing a loved one’s favorite song. Music can evoke your aggression, prepare you for the day, and ready you for any hard time ahead. It can put you in a trance, a meditative state, clear your mind, and help you relax. It can bring two people together and help them to share a common bond. Music is the perfect vehicle to reach your inner emotions. Therefore, music is the key to any spiritual journey that we travel on a daily basis. You always know when a song touches you on an emotional or spiritual level. When it can raise the hair on your arms, and deliver such a chill through your bones, and instantly you relate to that song more then just a casual listener. It becomes a part of you and becomes important to you. You feel the need to protect it, cherish it, hold it near and dear to your heart. Music triggers a response in people like no other art form, and a simple song can change someone’s life. Creating music has given me more fulfillment out of life than I could have possibly imagined. I am honored I have had the opportunity to touch some people on a spiritual level as well.
