Interview:
Music is the language Universal. Vibration and frequency being the underlying premise of all sound produced within music. There also is the intention and feeling imbedded in the performance of a musician or singer. This is true for drums and percussion instrumentalists as well. There will always be some form of feeling and intent coming from that person. I believe that unspoken information is always present in music and for me it is important that my intentions are pure when I am intending healing in my music, which is practically always.
No matter what style of music I am performing, in whatever setting live or studio, I always intend the vibration from within, out to the external world of physical vibration that we all perceive. It is always present in all of my works, musical and worldly, as I believe that I am in essence, an instrument being played by God, as we all are instruments of God being played out in this Earth plane. Our various roles of life are expanded through our realization of our own connectedness to God.
We all are capable of finding our God purpose in life. That what we love to do and are extraordinarily adept at, that is our gift to share with the world. This is usually something that we could do for hours on end without any concern for monetary compensation or gain. We just have a passion for that and love to immerse ourselves in the process of doing that which we love. Significance of music in spirituality is that it helps us to realize the vibrations of God.
In religious settings, gatherings, contemplative and meditative moments, prayer and worship, music is the vibrational aide to bringing that energy into its fullest manifestation. Think of each time you heard a Hymn, a Gospel Spiritual, an Indian Raga, a Gregorian Chant, a Church Choir of any kind, or instrumental music done with intent of worship or meditation. All have a common vibrational thread that is experienced by not only the listener or participant but especially the actual performers of the music or songs.
I conclude this answer to the spiritual significance of music by saying that music is God manifesting in each one of us the vibrational frequencies necessary to the upliftment of mankind and the ultimate realization of that inner connectedness that we all possess as children of God and all the good that exists in this Universe. Any voice can sing a melody or utter a sound vibration. Any mind can intend vibration for manifestation of God’s good on our Earth Plane and Universe. We are all broadcasting, and we are all receiving. It is just a matter of what we are intending that transforms that energy to be what it is, so be careful what it is that you think and perceive, so that it may be spiritually significant to the good of this Earth and Universe. Find your true passion and do it for God, do it for love.
“Significance of music in spirituality is that it helps us to realize the vibrations of God.”
