Interview:
I see music as a vessel for the spirit to connect and move people. That is the significance of music. It transcends mere words and phrasing, and has the ability to “move” us. If a particular song can put me in a good mood for the afternoon then I believe there has been a profound spiritual exchange. The same can be said for eating something beautiful or having a cup of tea. Music can convey so many moods or feelings within us, can reignite memories creating nostalgia. Music is an incredible gift that can move us and even lead us closer to an understanding of truth. To me, that is the spiritual significance of music as an artform.
