I believe music is a language that can speak to the soul. I can personally recall countless times, where a song has spoken to me, challenged me, broken me, and even left me in tears. This is the beauty of a song. Regardless of the band, their life situation, or their spirituality, an inspired song can stir ones mind, feelings, and imagination. For a musician, music can be an emotional outlet, a way to share life’s issues, hopes, and dreams. For a listener, music can be a place to escape the world, a place of worship, or more. I think we just have to look at major and minor keys, and see the mood that is stirred here to see how powerful music can be. With the right inspiration behind the music, lives can be changed.
