Interview:
I have been trying to think of the right answer to your question for over a week now, but as yet have not come up with one. I think for me all music is spiritual, there has never been any question about it. That old cliché about the Devil having all the best tunes is bollocks, God has always had the best tunes, it is just that some people think those that God has belonged to the Devil. Even “Sympathy For The Devil” by The Rolling Stones is owned by God. Now I know that is not the answer to the question you were asking, but there you go.
“For me all music is spiritual, there has never been any question about it.”
– Bill Drummond, co-founder of The KLF
