Interview:

To me, it has always been a mystery how we as human beings can feel and use the power of music. This language reaches into the deepest part of us and can transform our consciousness from suffering to the highest states of spiritual knowledge and love. I’ve seen it work in my own life and in the lives of those around me. For instance, that sense of wonder and infinite anticipation you have when you fall in love with someone is the same sense of wonder when you look up at a beautiful starlit sky. It’s a resolute touch of recognition and a vision of infinite possibilities, it’s that mothership feeling of opening your soul to the stars. These two experiences come from the human heart and can be expressed by the power of music. My goal is to dissolve the veil between the creative source and the ultimate destination of the audience so that my audience knows the music the way I do, and I know the music the way they do. I am always left with this question when I think about music; “What would it feel like to float among your dreams, to spin your dreams into love, to spin your love into music, what would it feel like to do that?”

“[Music] reaches into the deepest part of us and can transform our consciousness from suffering to the highest states of spiritual knowledge and love.”
