Interview:

I believe the spiritual significance of music is that within the fabric of a moving piece of music lies a truth that goes beyond words, a truth that can only be interpreted by the soul. This truth is the beauty the soul experiences based on its Divine origin. A beauty that may stimulate the body, however, a beauty that speaks first and most directly to the soul. It enlivens the person in an infinite number of ways. Mostly it reminds a person that there is a world beyond that of their senses, a world from which the soul has its Divine origin. Although music has little to do with inspiring a moral or just world, it does invite us to reach farther in our dreams and aspirations.

“[Music] reminds a person that there is a world beyond that of their senses, a world from which the soul has its Divine origin.”
