Interview:

After love, music is the major emotional source in life. Most music arises from an incident that brought the composer in an emotional state of inspiration. It can be anything from happiness, love, and excitement to loneliness, hate, and sadness. One single song can produce all feelings in the entire spectrum of emotions depending on the ears listening. If one believes in the soul, music is the most direct path to it. As a non-religious person, I believe the spirituality in music is based upon feelings. All music I compose just comes to me and is always related to my state of mind. My latest work “The Prestige” is mainly based on being in love; the joy of being together, and the sadness of being apart. Why? The year I spent writing the album I was in a long distance relationship that brought me through these emotional contrasts. A hard challenge for spirit and mind, but at the same time it’s very inspiring. Music is something we can all relate to because it affects our feelings, giving us inspiration and courage, and because of that, music will always be a spiritual companion of mankind.

“Music will always be a spiritual companion of mankind.”
