I believe there is nothing else but spiritual significance to music. If the music you are listening too doesn’t bring you to another “place”, it isn’t music, in its pure form. The question of “what is spirituality?” is different to everyone though. For me, “spirituality” is a state of mind that brings you closer to your inner soul and disconnects you to the world around. There is nothing on the earth that can transport you to that place than art, in this case, music. The art of music cannot be explained. It is a mystical divination that can do magical things to a person. It can change a person’s outlook on life; it can manipulate his or her emotions; it can transport you to another time; it can bring a person to another level; its affect can be limitless. The ways music can connect to another human being is truly magical. The secret of life is art.
