I think that for all five members of Godphobia, spirituality is life. No matter what the lyrics are about, there is only one thing important to me and the rest of the band; that is to do what is best. What we want to do, without permission, and to live life our way. Music is what’s inside and I think this is no different for Death Metal or any form of Extreme Music. This music is what we want to contribute in life, and in doing so, we develop as humans. The music is the most important thing in the band; so we let all members contribute what they feel to make the music more interesting. All instruments are important in that sense, and what comes out is the group’s beliefs and feelings. Music can be expressions without words, and most of the time, it is up to the listener to choose what they think the music gives them, even if the lyrics are saying another thing, the music can give them an impression. The music can be dark and extreme, but still be a contribution to life, and make the best out of it, because the music gives you energy, and that is a source for life. Music opens you up and makes you think. For me music is fun, and music is life.
