Interview:
First of all, what is spirituality? Does it have to involve God, or can it be something else? For me, spirituality is feeling in balance, uniting feelings and people. Music is one of the few art forms that can actually make people feel better and unite them, get them out of a miserable atmosphere, even if it is for a brief moment, or let them experience a sad feeling even more.
After Forever is my passion. The instrumental parts are written with aggression, anger, enthusiasm, and fun. The vocals are pure emotion, just like the lyrics. The lyrics are not about God, but do handle something bigger than ourselves; a force we can not explain.
Together with the music, I think these elements can create a spiritual atmosphere that gives people a positive or sentimental vibe. Spirituality enables people to be more aware of who they are, and I think our music sometimes does the same. So I guess I can say that we definitely have a spiritual factor in our music.
