Brujeria’s “Marijuana” is a death-metal cover of the international smash hit “Macarena” by Los Del Rio. A ridiculous electro-grindcore release with hilarious lyrical alterations in Spanish.

After a disturbingly poetic introduction, Don Salsa’s “Untitled” track has a generous dosage of metal-core riffs and keyboard tinkerings of Jack Marshall’s “The Munsters” theme. In addition, “Ceylon March O’Roon” takes a brief intermission to borrow cues from James Thornton’s “The Streets Of Cairo (Kradoutja)”.

An extremely rare vinyl version of the single features “Pop Muzik” (Yoshihiro Sawasaki Remix), an electro-house mix that samples Robin Scott’s original vocals. Ex-Girl are unlike any punk-pop band that you’ve ever heard before.

Wonderful World Of Joey are a pseudo-lounge-exotica collective who have performed in various venues throughout Los Angeles. “What Sweet Child Of O’ Mine Is This?” is a swanky-jazz-lounge hybrid of the festive poem “What Child Is This?” by William Chatterton Dix and the rock anthem “Sweet Child O’ Mine” by Guns N’ Roses. A humourous song that amazingly blends both tracks perfectly. Wonderful World Of Joey also loungify Henry Mancini’s “Days Of Wine And Roses” on the second track of this rare CD-Single.
