Interview:
Personally I love music. I believe in order for someone to truly love music there has to be more to music than just the sound. In the Bible, we see King David place a high importance on music. From his empire, he initially choose 4000 of the best musicians and then went on to reduce that figure to 288. Those 288 musicians would have been the best of the best, the “ultimate musicians”, who went on to play many of the Psalms that we find in the Bible. I believe God created music to reach certain places in our lives that can not be reached by everyday things. Music can change the atmosphere in a single moment, can change people’s emotions instantly, and can ease the most broken of hearts. I believe music has an extreme spiritual significance because it takes people to a whole new level of emotion. Music can build people up, bring them down, make them angry, and make them thankful. Music is universally accepted as a way of communication. Music can meet anyone, anywhere, and convey a heart-warming message regardless of race, age, and ethnicity.
