Interview:

The spiritual significance of music has two aspects; the musician and the listener. As a musician you put your own values into your writing and performance of music. These values can be political, religious, spiritual, love, worship, and also from your own life experiences, among many other things. As a listener you choose how to receive the music. You interpret what you listen to, and depending on how much the music and lyrics speak to you, this will determine the music’s personal value to yourself. As for Chained, we see ourselves as a Christian band. We can refer to the Great Commission where Jesus Christ calls us to spread the Word of God and proclaim the Good News that He died for us. This is how we do that best; through music. We put a Christian significance in our music, and play it as heavy and as loud as possible.
