Interview:
Personally music moves me more than any force on the Earth. Music is the most powerful means of communication. When something touches the core of your being, you know it has great power. The important thing to remember is how one gives themselves over to this force. If the music is of a negative nature, a person should not allow that authority in their life. If the message is positive and uplifting then a person can invite this authority in their life. Music has the ability to change thought processes, emotions, and lives. It can motivate people to jump around, shout, unite, bond, and even cry. Music can incite anger, violence, or praise and worship. Music can be used in a dangerous way to influence, to liberate, or to bind. It is multi-faceted; it is complex and breaks down language barriers. So spiritually music is extremely significant. It can be used in a spiritual way to promote goodness, or can be used in a carnal way to seduce people. I have been called to use my gifts and talent to lift up Jesus Christ and to spread the Good News through music. I am thankful for this calling and commission.
