Interview:
I believe music can move you. If music is honest and can relate with a listener then that could be spiritually significant. Music can raise you whether you are a Gospel singer or a Pop singer. Whether you are rapping or screaming. We all enjoy it because music takes us somewhere else. We can escape. It is such a powerful thing though that throw away lyrics are all to often paraded and the glorification of what is bad in this world is made to look cool. Spiritual significance cannot be found here.
We have been brought up in a Catholic world, and in this we have learnt morals, faith, and what is good. AMMP’s spiritual significance can be found underneath our music and lyrical writing. This is not on purpose, but because our music and spirituality is built in us. Guitarist Mathew Powell and I keep saying, something is helping us and guiding us.
