Interview:
I’d say music is a necessary element for reaching a place deep within one’s core where there is a joy so strong and so pure, it rivals any “feel good” drug out there. I mean ANY drug! With the assistance of the volume and intensity of The Accüsed’s style of music, personally it is even easier for me to visit that place. It transports my very existence to another plane, or dimension on occasion. It honestly feels like what has been described by some, as “Heaven”. Music is not only significant for me to feel this way, but is integral. It makes everything O.K. for me. It is my center, my safe harbor, my lover, my nemesis, and even my god, I think. I believe in it without question. I have, and will again if need-be, gotten involved in physical violence to defend it, and will protect my relationship with it at almost any cost. I need it to survive.
