David Slusser's "Mission Creek" is a rare live edit from a performance at the Mission Creek Music Festival by David Slusser on May 30, 2004 San Francisco (CA), The Dark Room. Don Salsa's "El Stronzolo" is taken from their rare and currently out-of-print debut album "Koolaid Moustache In Jonestown". Düreforsög's "High School" is a live recording sourced from the new LP version of "Escho Live" now available from www.escho.net. Eftus Spectun's "Untitled" is an exclusive excerpt from their new album, also "Untitled", recorded live at The Cube with Stu Jackson, then over dubbed, mixed and mastered at Grubs Recording Facilities in Bristol, England. El Douje's "La Jiñete Final" is featured from the independently released debut album "Worlds Collide". Fake No More's "Candy Smile" is from a new CD single available online from www.fakenomore.nl. Fishtank's "The Last Shamisen Master" is a track on their debut album "Super Raoul" from Mimicry Records. God Of Shamisen's "Science Fiction Of Ray Bradbury Attack!" is soon to be featured on their full length studio album. Kevin Kmetz's "Toccatta" is a Tsugaru Shamisen studio cover of "Toccata And Fugue In D Minor" by Johann Sebastian Bach, also featured on "Great Masters Of Modern Shamisen". Loop!Station's "Immediate" is a new track from their third independently released album "Obey Your Signal". Numbers' "I'll Love You 'Til I Don't" is a song from their new album "We're Animals" on Kill Rock Stars. Sir Millard Mulch's "Epicsode II: Attack Of The Mike Patton Clones" is a previously unreleased outtake from his debut album "How To Sell The Whole F#@!ing Universe To Everybody... Once And For All!" on Mimicry Records. Sleepytime Gorilla Museum's "Phthisis" is from their second album "Of Natural History" also available from Mimicry Records. The Demix's "Vendetta Kind Of Mood" is taken from an online EP, and contains samples of "The Beat" by the Deftones, an audio sample of Christopher Walken from the film "True Romance", scratching and noise from The Mars Volta. The Deserts of Träun's "Fresh Idea" is a previously unreleased demo from the "The Search For Traun: A Detectives' Story" in The Deserts of Träun trilogy. William Winant's "Bang Zoom" is a live edit from a larger piece for multiple tuned cowbells and solo percussion composed by Alvin Curran. This particular composition was written for and performed by William Winant on April 26, 1996 Oakland (CA), Mills College, and also features on the Fever Pitch compilation "Just Drums II: The Project". |
